About This Cause
Operation Jenda is a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization. Operation Jenda’s (OJ's) current project is to build a school in Muang Sing, Luang Namtha, Laos. This new school will house five classrooms and will cost $50,000 to build. It will serve over 250 students from Maung Sing and all the surrounding villages. 100% of proceeds goes towards building this school. Maung Sing is located in Northwestern Laos and is a small town with many tribal minority groups such as Lumien, Ahka, Tai Lue, Hmong, Yao, Tai Dam, Tai Neau and Meo. Maung Sing is tucked between the high mountains of Laos and the region is rich and pure with cultural heritages.
