HopeSparks strengthens families by inspiring courage and confidence to make a lasting change. We accomplish this through providing high quality, stigma reducing and evidence-based family services that address the critical needs of children and families in South Puget Sound Washington.

About This Cause

HopeSparks is a South Puget Sound non-profit organization providing behavioral health, developmental services, family stability & kinship support for children, families and communities impacted by trauma and adversity. Our Strategies  To stabilize children and families through evidence-based trauma-informed care  To maximize socialization and academic potential of very young children with delays  To maintain family unity and stability through kinship care & advocacy  To model healthy positive parenting practices though home visiting programs  To implement evidence-based eating recovery treatment Our Programs -Behavioral Health: Specialized trauma-informed care for abuse survivors from age two and across life span utilizing evidence-based practices -Children’s Developmental Services: Early intervention services and education for children with developmental delays age birth to three -Family Support Services: Home visiting services that maintain the stability of at-risk families by providing positive parenting programs in the home -Relatives Raising Children: Kinship care program that provides information, resources and advocacy to strengthen caregivers and keep families intact -Pediatric Healthcare Integration: HopeSparks partners with pediatric practices to provide collaborative care for children and their families. Both medical and behavioral healthcare are provided in primary care or other clinical settings. Behavioral Health Care Managers work closely with primary care providers and psychiatric consultants to provide brief, evidence-based interventions for depression, anxiety, ADHD, and behavior challenges.
