About This Cause

ADVOCACY AND CARING FOR CHILDREN During the fiscal year 2021-22, the ACC Board awarded $205,000 in grants to nineteen agencies in Western Washington, located from Bellingham to Aberdeen. Over the last twenty-one years, ACC has given over $3.3 million dollars to agencies that support the very neediest children and families. The grants are made possible because of the efforts of 250 women, who belong to 13 active Circles, as well as many supporting members. Fund-raising events include luncheons, fashion shows, raffles, auctions and parties. Additional funds are raised by seasonal plant and wreath sales, our annual Labor of Love online auction, calendar sales, and a biennial Magnolia Tour of Homes and Celebrate the Children Event. An Endowment Fund was established in 2002 and now stands at $1,429,265*. In-kind donations by individuals and Circles include clothing, layettes, personal care items, books and craft items, as well as countless volunteer hours. *March. 2022 Your donation is marked specifically for grant funding and 100% of your donation will be added to the amount we distribute to grant applicants.
