Mission Statement
Through the use of superior customer service, high-quality programs and a well-trained and dedicated staff, our mission is to inspire hope and support life-saving changes for people affected by substance use and mental health conditions.
About This Cause
Lifeline Connections has beenserving Washington since1962. We serve more than 5,000 low-income people each year at multiple locations. Lifeline Connections offers a full complement of treatment for adults and youth with substance use and mental health disorders. Our inpatient programs include withdrawal management (medically-assisted detoxification) and gender-specific residential treatment including a program for pregnant and parenting women. In our outpatient programs services can include intensive outpatient and regular outpatient treatment for people with substance use disorders, treatment for people with mental health or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and therapeutic specialty court and jail reentry and transition services. The organization also operates a Medication-Assisted Treatment program, an evidence-based treatment for people with opioid use disorders. Our recovery support services include housing, employment, and a recovery resource center providing a positive social network for people in recovery. Programs are patient-centered and patient-driven; people learn to manage their chronic illnesses, build sustained recovery and experience an improved quality of life. Our commitment is to serve the whole person, and to meet them where they are on their journeys of recovery. We offer our patients the tools they need to live successfully in their communities, and together we create strategies that help them effectively manage their chronic disorders. Our inpatient, outpatient, and alumni programs are designed with the needs of the individual in mind, and treatment is built on evidence-based, best-practice standards and protocols that support what research and human experience has proven: treatment works. Recovery is possible, and with help, it happens every day.
