Mission Statement
Learning Avenues Child Care Centers is a non-profit agency dedicated to making high quality child care available to all families. We serve Preschool and School Age children ages 2 1/2 years to 12 years old.
About This Cause
Learning Avenues Child Care Centers provides high quality child care to families with children ages 2 1/2 years to 12 years old. We offer families a sliding fee scale where tuition is based on their household monthly gross income. We also accept DSHS child care subsidy for families that qualify. We are a full year program designed to meet working families needs. Our Preschool location offers Head Start classes, ECEAP classes and a Community Preschool class. Our Preschool program is currently enrolled in the Early Achievers program. This is an exciting new program in Washington state that helps child care centers continue to provide and develop high quality services that help children learn and grow. Our School Age Program is located in two local "at-risk" elementary schools and serves children Before and After school hours and also provides full time care on school holidays and during the summer. We participate in the USDA food program and serve nutritious meals and snacks in all of our programs. Approximately 75% of our families qualify for Free and Reduced lunches. Learning Avenues recognizes the family as the primary educator of the child and strives to build working partnerships between families, school and community.
