OPERATION NIGHTWATCH

SEATTLE, Washington, 98111-3181 United States

Mission Statement

Operation Nightwatch is an interdenominational Christian ministry serving the poor and homeless. In order to help people to attain their highest level of self-reliance we provide: spiritual care and hope for the community at night, compassionate relief and shelter placement for homeless men and women, low-cost housing and support services for seniors and the disabled, and education and encouragement for others to respond to those in need.

About This Cause

Imagine being alone and homeless in Seattle, late at night. After other programs have closed for the day, Operation Nightwatch is there, bringing tangible, immediate relief to people in need. Nightwatch workers and volunteers provide shelter and a late-night meal, starting at 9:00 pm every night. Low-income seniors find a permanent home in small, furnished rooms. And Nightwatch homeless companions help unsheltered people navigate their way into treatment, shelter, housing and recovery. Getting people inside is the first step in self-reliance. It's what Nightwatch does.
