About This Cause
AtWork! is a nonprofit, supported employment agency, that empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to get good jobs, increase community connection, and successfully transition to life after high school. Since 1962, we’ve been advocating at the local, state, and federal levels for supported employment opportunities. We’re passionate about creating supportive jobs in local communities for the people we serve and are dedicated to successful outcomes for inclusive businesses. Our goal is to break down the barriers of our society, promote equitable public policy, and prove by our success that citizens with disabilities deserve equal rights, equal pay, equal access, and true equal opportunity. Simply put, people with disabilities are an integral part of our society, our businesses, and our lives. Whether you’re an individual with I/DD curious about services, or a business interested in inclusive hiring, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
