Mission Statement
We are a sportfishing conservation organization dedicated to restoring and enhancing salmonid habitats and populations and the opportunities to angle for them.
About This Cause
Headquartered in the Portland, Oregon area, we currently have active chapters in Washington and Oregon, with at-large members all over the United States. We advocate for fishing and river rights for sport fishers; conduct education outreach to the general public on issues facing salmonid populations and their habitats; teach clinics on fishing techniques; and provide fishing opportunities for wounded veterans through our River Ambassadors Program. Our chapters conduct regular clean ups on local rivers, as well as support the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife with thousands of volunteer hours each year for habitat and other projects that include nutrient enrichment, channel clearing, invasive species removal and riparian tree planting, spawning surveys and hatchery support and advocacy.
