Mission Statement
Woodridge Elementary PTSA is a nonprofit all volunteer organization dedicated to promoting educational opportunities for all Woodridge students through creation of community, volunteer opportunities and financial support. 100% of donated funds go to Woodridge Elementary PTSA in Bellevue, WA. As required by IRS regulations, the contact address is for the State PTSA Offices in Tacoma.
About This Cause
The PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student Association) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) and an all-volunteer group that supports all Woodridge students by promoting an environment that encourages a sense of community, personal growth, safety, positive values, and open communication. The PTSA strives to:•Promote and provide opportunities that help to create a strong school community •Provide opportunities for parental involvement in their child's education and school community, as well as ensuring that the needs of all students are fully supported •Provide funding for student activities and programs that are not otherwise possible, yet vitally needed •Team with Woodridge teachers and staff to foster a positive, productive relationship between the PTSA and the school •Develop and encourage open communication with all members of our community
