Mission Statement
To steward Eastside history by actively collecting, preserving and interpreting documents and artifacts, and by promoting public involvement in and appreciation of this heritage through educational programming and community outreach.
About This Cause
Eastside Heritage Center's goal is to educate our community in Eastern King County about history of the region through individual's personal stories and historical records that reveal our shared past. Eastside Heritage Center has over 60,000 artifacts and approximately 558 cubic feet of archives in its collection, all of which are held in the public trust. EHC’s collection plays an important part in telling the story of the Eastside of Lake Washington. Our vision is to have a destination heritage museum and research facility, supporting cultural tourism and enhancing community identity through the preservation and stewardship of Eastside history.
