Mission Statement
Our PTA mission is to build community and enrich education in the John Rogers Elementary School community in Seattle, WA.
About This Cause
John Rogers Elementary PTA is a member of the Washington State PTA. WA PTA's vision is making every child's potential a reality. PTA is a voice for all children, a relevant resource for families, schools and the community, and is a strong advocate for the well being and education of every child. John Rogers’ mission is to establish a school community in which all students are guided to reach their highest academic success. We are a school that will teach students to be life-long learners and to have a positive impact on their communities. John Roger’s vision is to have “EVERY student seen, engaged, challenged and growing!” The John Rogers PTA supports and enriches the students’ learning and experiences by providing field trips, art and science enrichment, library books, classroom supplies, a school food bank, reading tutors, a playground supervisor, and hosting community and family events such as the Fall festival, Math and Science Night and Art Walk.
