We bring this mission to life through transformative initiatives: Our dedicated phone line acts as a lifeline, offering compassionate support to those in need while imparting critical knowledge and practical skills that promote independence and resilience. We also provide engaging workshops and educational classes that are carefully designed to help participants learn new skills and acquire valuable tools. All of our initiatives are completely free of charge, ensuring that these vital resources and opportunities are accessible to everyone seeking support. By fostering an inclusive environment, we aim to create a vibrant community where every individual feels valued and empowered.
About This Cause
Brain Northwest, formerly The Brain Injury Alliance of Washington is small nonprofit organization that has exhibited the power to do great things. Brain Northwest was originally founded in 1982 as the Washington State Head Injury Foundation by family members united by a determination to create a system of support for all Washingtonians whose lives are affected by Brain Injury. Today, a cadre of board members and staff work collaboratively to carry out the organization’s mission: to increase public awareness, support and hope for those affected by Brain Injury through education, assistance and advocacy. Our vision is to ignite public awareness, cultivate steadfast support, and instill hope in all those affected by brain injury through comprehensive education and compassionate assistance. We envision a world where brain injuries are prevented, and every individual impacted by their effects is empowered with the resources necessary to enrich their quality of life and flourish.
