Mission Statement

The Auburn Food Bank Provides Food, Referrals and Emergency Assistance to Those in Need Living Within the Auburn School District.

About This Cause

The Auburn Food Bank is a volunteer directed organization that provides food, referrals, and emergency assistance to those in need living within the Auburn School District. The district consists of Auburn, Pacific, Algona and annexed portions of Kent. Food distribution is M,T,Th,F, a hot meal program, holiday baskets, a backpack program for students of Auburn School District, limited home delivery to in-bound shut ins, job rehab and training. We help with financial assistance to those in jeopardy of losing their home, having water or power shut off (one time a year). We also operate the Ray of Hope Resource Center and Sundown Shelter for our homeless community. The two shelters are open seven days/nights a week. We see an average of 225 families each day and the need is growing as the rising costs continue to impact households. We serve all who walk through our door - if they are here - they need our help!
