About This Cause
Northwest Regional Primary Care Association (NWRPCA) is a resource and advocacy organization for community and migrant health centers in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. Our members include organizations and individuals involved in providing primary health care to underserved rural, urban, and migrant populations. Our objective is to support and advocate for community-based organizations that provide high quality, comprehensive primary health care to underserved communities in the Pacific Northwest, without regard to financial or other status. NWRPCA assists our member CHCs by maintaining and developing cost effective and efficient services for members; researching and reporting on issues of concern to C/MHCs; organize conferences and training programs; monitor federal health care policies; act as a liaison with government officials, health plan agencies, and the community at large on behalf of health centers; provide technical assistance to health centers, and assist individual members with items of concern.
