Mission Statement

The Snohomish Community Food Bank is a non-profit agency serving the residents living within the boundaries of the Snohomish School District. We provide groceries for families in need on a weekly basis and are supported solely through donations and community volunteers.

About This Cause

We are set up as a free grocery trip, giving out food to families in need once each week. Currently, our average family receives abut $160.00 of food per "shop". Aside from food, we have developed several related programs: Home Delivery for the elderly and disabled Take Out Bags are one bag of groceries twice each week for the homeless Food-2-Go: Weekend groceries for homeless high school students Infant Bags: A full weeks supplies of baby needs Shuttle service on Tuesdays for clients who have no transportation Additional Weekly Provisions: Pet Food Additional Monthly Provisions: Household Goods and Personal Hygiene Contributor: BoxTops In Partnership: Provide weekly food to Boys and Girls Club; Senior Center and two other food banks; and two after school programs. Kids Cafe: Summer Meals for kids 18 and under Clearview Clothing Bank: Provide free clothing once per month School Supplies in a Backpack: New backpack with supplies, grades K - 8 Christmas House: Christmas gifts to children 18 and under in county
