Mission Statement
The greatest commandment in the Bible is as Jesus stated in Mark 12:29-31: to love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. The second is this: love your neighbor as yourself.
About This Cause
The word “church” means “assembly” or “called out,” describing not a building, but a group of men and women who are called out of a sinful world to serve God, spread His message and help one another. (Romans 12:1-2, 1 Peter 2:9, Matthew 22:37-40, 28:19-20) The Bible teaches that after becoming a Christian, one becomes a member of the church (Acts 2:47). In a universal sense, the church is comprised of all Christians (Matthew 16:18, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Colossians 1:18), and in a local sense the church is comprised of Christians meeting in a particular geographic location. (Romans 16:16, 1 Corinthians 1:2)
