Mercy Housing is committed to creating affordable homes and inspiring dreams as we work with residents and partners to establish engaged, strong, and inclusive communities. Mercy Housing Northwest (MHNW) is one of the state’s leading non-profit developers, owner and operator of affordable, service-enriched housing. As part of a strong national organization, MHNW is highly accomplished in adapting project design, property management, and resident services to serve a community’s unique needs. Our leadership and development staff have extensive experience in affordable housing finance, design, land use, sustainable building, community redevelopment, and program design and implementation. Mercy Housing Northwest was established in 1992 through the collaboration of five local communities of Catholic women religious determined to address the housing crisis in Washington State. Since then, MHNW has successfully developed over 2,300 affordable homes across the state, and provides an affordable place to call home for more than 5,000 residents every day.
