Volunteer driven stewardship of dog off-leash areas in Seattle
About This Cause
In a cooperative relationship with the City of Seattle Parks department, our park stewards maintain 13 of the 14 dog off-leash areas in Seattle, COLA develops educational programs for new dog owners, provides instruction on managing problems at parks and elicits community involvement in care-taking of the park. Major advocacy for increased number of off-leash parks in the city.
