Mission Statement
BETHANY BEAR’S MISSSION STATEMENT Our motto and goal at Bethany Bear’s Preschool is “Learn to Love, Love to Learn.” We believe in surrounding the children in an atmosphere of love and protection. We believe then they are free to learn more about Jesus’ love and the world they live in. Our curriculum is created to peak the children’s interest. We desire that they have fun exploring different aspects of the world God created for them. Our curriculum is not just based on bible characters and bible verse, though they are brought into our teaching. We believe that children learn more about God if they are taught to see Him in everyday things and happenings. We do not have a special temple time set aside for the children, instead the children are introduced to the power of prayer and God’s Word at snack time. Our goal is to prepare the children for kindergarten in a Christian, loving atmosphere, where the children learn to love themselves and each other as well. Our other goal is to help the children prepare for a lifetime of loving to learn. If the children leave us loving Jesus, loving each other and loving to learn we be have met our goals.
About This Cause
Bethany Bear's Preschool is a non-profit, Christian preschool located in the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Bethany Bear's Preschool has been located at this location since September of 1997. We have and are serving the children and families of Wallingford and surrounding neighborhoods. Our goal is to prepare our children to be ready socially and academically to enter kindergarten. We use a theme based curriculum which enables a child to explore different learning styles. We provide a variety of hands-on activities and choices throughout the day designed to encourage individual learning and creative play. We plan a balanced program to meet the total developmental needs of each child, with the warmth and acceptance of Christian teaching integrated throughout the program.
