About This Cause

The Northwest Junior Pipe Band is a nonprofit organization that provides an alternative music experience for today’s youth. Started in 1995, the group was originally called the Northwest Junior Pipe Band. It then changed its name to Shoreline Youth Pipe Band until 2004 when the band reclaimed the Northwest Junior Pipe Band name. Our goals for the band are to develop teamwork, tradition, respect, fun, discipline, and most of all - MUSIC! Being involved in pipe band can be a very exciting and rewarding experience. It can lead to a lifetime of friendship and good times, while being a constructive outlet for musicianship and sportsmanship.
