About This Cause

Located in the Bryant neighborhood in northeast Seattle, Assumption-St. Bridget School is a PreK-8 school for Assumption Parish and St. Bridget Parish. As the parish school, the school partners with parents to provide excellent education in the Catholic tradition. Students grow in faith through prayer, study, and service. As they develop academic skills, they learn to think critically, to collaborate effectively, and to use technology appropriately. ASB School has two classes of every grade for kindergarten through 8th grade. Each class has approximately 30 students. In Kindergarten through grade 5, classrooms are self-contained. Grades PreK-3 have full-time aides to assist the teacher. In grades 6 through 8, students have a homeroom teacher and they move to various teachers for other classes. Throughout the grades, students receive specialized instruction in technology, physical education, and library. ASB also has a strong commitment to the arts. Students in all grades have music and drama classes, with many performance opportunities. Middle-school drama productions involve students in all aspects of performances, from acting to technical crew. Art Parents provide art enrichment in grades 1-5, and students in grades 6-8 attend art classes.
