RYTHER CHILD CENTER LEAGUE

Seattle, Washington, 98115 United States

Mission Statement

We support Ryther in its endeavors on behalf of children, youth and their families through fundraising and direct service activities. League members find meaningful community in their Unit while raising awareness and educating the public about Ryther’s work to help young people who are struggling emotionally and behaviorally find the path to healing and hope.

About This Cause

Since 1937, the Ryther Child Center League has supported Ryther’s programs through fundraising, volunteer work, and financial donations. As a separate 501(c)(3) organization, the League is run by a volunteer Board and is comprised of individual units and members-at-large throughout the Puget Sound area. From hosting events, orchestrating plant sales, and providing tangible items for children and families in need served by Ryther, each unit chooses its own way to get involved. The League members also operate the volunteer-run ReStyle for Ryther Ballard thrift store. Join an existing unit or start your own with friends, family, or co-workers. Units have as few as six members and some have as many as 40. You may also join as a member-at-large. Members form friendships that span decades, as well as new relationships grounded in the desire to help improve the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
