Our mission is to optimize the quality of life for all people living with cancer. Whether you are newly diagnosed, through treatment and looking to adjust to the new reality, or you know someone with cancer, Cancer Lifeline has services that can meet you where you are now and help you.

About This Cause

Since the beginning, Cancer Lifeline has constantly introduced and championed new advances in cancer support and now offers diverse experiential support groups and classes, informational presentations, and exercise programs tailored to the unique challenges of people who have (or have had) cancer. In addition, as the survivorship rates for cancer have improved over time, Cancer Lifeline has focused on the new realities of many who are living with cancer for extended periods of time. Cancer Lifeline programs are offered FREE of charge. The list of programs and classes grows and changes to meet client's needs. Core Programs include: -Telephone "Lifeline" providing emotional support, information and community resource materials. -Support groups to help people cope with the emotional and social impacts of living with cancer -Family Support Programs providing a cancer patient's family and friends ways to strengthen relationships and open lines of communication to support the patient. -Creative Expression Programs offer variety of workshops in creative arts that support personal exploration and growth -Health Promotion Program focuses on gentle exercise, movement and nutrition. Classes are offered for people in all stages of recovery. -Mental Health Counseling provides un or under-insured patients with critical one on one counseling.
