Mission Statement
Bloop Museum seeks to: Provide assistance in archival and preservation efforts, and conduct any other activities intended to ameliorate the harmful impacts of discarding technology; Advance science and education on issues related to computers, technology, and electronic entertainment, such as their origins, intentions, and effects; Hold educational forums and develop partnerships and networks among museums, libraries, and similar entities; Heighten public awareness of the history and workings of computers, technology, and electronic entertainment.
About This Cause
Bloop is an electronic entertainment museum with a heavy focus on computers, games, media, and gadgets! Exhibits are on display with fun technology from the past, and a docent can tell you all about it, tie it to other items in the museum, help you learn to use it, or find something else you're interested in. Our library includes items you can see, hold, and use as well. A fun and informative learning experience for any age!
