Mission Statement

The mission of the Organization is to create a community for Sri Lankans in the region and to share information about the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Sri Lanka with all Oregonians and the rest of the United States. The Organization aims to achieve this mission by promoting and conducting charitable, cultural, educational, and community activities and through collaborative efforts from tuition assistance, removing barriers to economic wellbeing and improving overall health meditation programs.

About This Cause

The Sri Lankan Community Center is an inclusive and welcoming hub for a diverse community and fosters lifelong wellness, opportunities to learn about Sri Lankan culture, and provides dynamic social and educational experiences, grounded in Sri Lankan values and culture.
