Mission Statement
Our mission statement is to empower women to chase after the promises of Jesus.
About This Cause
We are a faith based 501c3 nonprofit based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Covered Ministries is a women’s ministry, our mission is to empower women to chase after the promises of Jesus. We do this through our quarterly events called Covered Nights. We take our Covered Nights event into local women’s rehab facilities. We went into Charlotte Rescues Mission women’s rehabilitation facility “Doves Nest” this past July and we were able to serve over 125 residents and staff. Our big vision for this ministry is Conferences, Ministry Brunches (to pour into women in the nonprofit and ministry world), Retreats, Books, Covered Groups (small groups for women to find community), Covered Girls (Elementary middle and high school girls), continue to go into women’s rehabilitation facilities, and we would love to start going into prisons. Our founders passion is mental health, therefore we would love to partner with local Christian counseling offices here in Charlotte to pay for women that have experienced any sexual abuse or domestic violence to receive free or reduced counseling services.
