Mission Statement
We are dedicated to bringing awareness to the animal welfare problem in Houston, Texas. Our mission is to show compassion to these dogs one at a time while spreading awareness and promoting change in Houston and the surrounding communities.
About This Cause
Sunnyside Street Dogs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of both dogs and humans in our community. We actively feed and care for stray dogs in our neighborhood, ensuring they have access to nutritious food and clean water. For dogs that have been abused or neglected, we provide life-saving medical care, rehabilitation, and a safe haven where they can begin to heal. Our adoption program matches each dog with the perfect forever family, giving them a second chance at life. Through community outreach and adoption events, Sunnyside Street Dogs works to raise awareness about the plight of homeless animals and inspire compassionate action. Every donation directly supports our mission to rescue, heal, and rehome dogs in need. Together, we can make a difference—one paw at a time.
