Mission Statement
To stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, to aid in the protection of native trees, plants and birds, to encourage civic beauty, and to improve and protect the quality of the environment through programs and action in the fields of conservation and education.
About This Cause
We are a non-profit club with approximately 350 members. We are a member of the Garden Club of America, which has over 200 member clubs through out the country. We work on and help fund local projects in conjunction with the Portland Parks Department, the City of Lake Oswego, Friends of the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon Parks and Recreation to name a few. We have monthly meetings with speakers from around the country to discuss current issues as related to our mission statement. These meetings are open to the public.
