About This Cause
For 60 years, LifeWorks NW has worked to promote a healthy community by providing quality and culturally-responsive mental health and addiction services across the lifespan. We are committed to continuously improve our understanding of the issues faced by people of diverse backgrounds, seeking input from families and the community. Since our founding, our services have centered on helping the underserved, and nearly all of the clients we serve are low to moderate income. We now have 12 multi-service sites in the Portland, Oregon metro area, several residential programs, and numerous staff numerous staff in medical clinics, schools, and other community settings, with a staff of more than 600. We serve clients of all ages - from childhood to older adulthood. Our services reach more than 30,000 people from throughout the region, and are designed to meet the specific needs of the communities in which they are offered. We strive to be a dynamic and forward-thinking contributor to the health of our region.
