About This Cause

Lines for Life provides crisis intervention services for people struggling with substance abuse and suicidal ideation through 24/7 phone and text lines. Our free, anonymous crisis lines include: • Suicide Lifeline – Crisis intervention for callers who are considering suicide or are suicidal at the time of their call. • YouthLine – Peer-to-peer crisis intervention for youth ages 10-24 dealing with issues such as bullying, relationships, substance abuse, self-harm, and suicide. • Military Helpline – Confidential resource for military service members, veterans, and their families dealing with issues including access to benefits, alcohol and drug abuse, post-traumatic stress, and thoughts of suicide. • Drug and Alcohol Helpline – Drug and alcohol treatment referral for individuals and family members. • Senior Loneliness Line – Supporting seniors in our community who are feeling lonely and having difficulty connecting. In addition to our 24/7 crisis lines, we also develop and provide innovative, culturally informed prevention programs and trainings, and work with legislature to shape policy related to our mission.
