St. Andrew Legal Clinic (SALC) is dedicated to providing accessible and affordable legal services for individuals with family law needs, particularly those with limited incomes.
About This Cause
Vision Statement: SALC envisions a society where every individual has equal access to legal services, irrespective of their financial status, the complexity of their case, or their personal circumstances. Within the realm of family law, there exists a significant population of low-income individuals who are unable to access legal representation, as well as moderate-income individuals who cannot afford private attorneys at market rates. SALC aims to bridge this gap by offering comprehensive legal services to these underserved populations. The Clinic upholds the belief that clients should contribute to the cost of the services they receive, employing a sliding scale based on their available resources. This approach preserves the dignity of the client while emphasizing the value of the assistance provided. SALC recognizes that a thriving society is one in which individuals can readily obtain legal representation for family law matters when they need it.
