Mission Statement

Since 1982 The Dougy Center has provided peer grief support groups to grieving children, teens, young adults, and their adult family members. The Dougy Center was the first organization in the United States to provide peer support groups for children who had experienced the death of a parent or sibling. The organization continues to provide training locally, nationally and internationally to individuals and organizations seeking to assist children in grief.

About This Cause

The mission of The Dougy Center is to provide support in a safe place where children, teens, young adults and their families who are grieving a death can share their experiences.
