Mission Statement
OCOM educates students and provides our community with low-cost acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatments for for pain, allergies, asthma, depression, anxiety, and a variety of other conditions. Last year, we served 3,467 patients in 19,118 clinic visits (62% of which were for those from low-income households) at our Hollywood and Old Town Chinatown clinic locations.
About This Cause
The mission of Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) is to transform health care by educating highly skilled and compassionate practitioners, providing exemplary patient care, and engaging in innovative research within a community of service and healing. OCOM's mission is manifested through the education of future leaders in the Acupuncture and Oriental medicine community and by providing low-cost, effective health care in our teaching clinics to thousands of Portland residents each year.
