Mission Statement
We are the “Parent-Teacher-Student-Organization” (PTSO) at Westridge Elementary School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. PTSO is a nonprofit organization run by parent volunteers. With donations from families and the community, the PTSO organizes and sponsors field trips, technology, and enrichment programs that directly benefit the students of Westridge.
About This Cause
The PTSO is Westridge's Parent Teacher Student Organization. PTSO's sole purpose is to do for our children what the school district's budget cannot afford to do. Field trips, Art Literacy, Educational Enrichment projects, Computer Lab purchases, the Science Inquiry Fair, Family Science Night and special assemblies would not be possible without the support of our PTSO. It also works to build and support our school community in a variety of ways. This is accomplished through fundraising and parent volunteers.
