Mission Statement
The Tigard High Band Boosters could be called the Tigard High School Band, Marching Band, Color Guard, Drum Line & Cadet Drum Line Boosters, Jazz Band Boosters, Orchestra Boosters, Music Boosters but who wants to type that every time! The Band Boosters is made up of ALL the parents of ALL the students of all the Bands, Orchestra, Color Guard and Drum Line. Our goal is to support the student music organizations at Tigard High School.
About This Cause
The Tigard High Band Boosters was formed to support the many band and orchestra classes at Tigard High School as well as its competitive marching band, color guard, and drum line. These activities take a huge amount of resources to run, both monetary resources and time. Music programs are getting less support from their school districts and need the community's support to maintain themselves. Fundraising allows us to help kids participate in the programs who may not otherwise have the income to do so. The Tigard High Band, Orchestra, and Auxiliary Boosters help provide additional instruction, cover expenses for competitions (including transportation and food), uniforms, new instruments, supplies, and so much more.
