Mission Statement
Oregon Queer History Collective, formerly known as the Gay & Lesbian Archives of the Pacific Northwest (GLAPN), collects, preserves, and shares material and information relating to the history of LGBTQIA2S+ Oregonians.
About This Cause
Oregon Queer History Collective is the state's longest operating queer dedicated and led historical society. Founded in 1994, we collect papers, photos, and other materials made by and made for LGBTQIA2S+ Oregonians. Partnerships across our communities allow us to capture oral interviews, support archival efforts, advance scholarship, and elevate local queer history. Collection materials are made available through our social media, website, and Oregon Historical Society's Research Library.
