Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
About This Cause
Big Brothers Big Sisters serves children facing adversity, from age six to graduation, in the Portland and Vancouver metro areas. We pair kids with adult volunteers, a Big Brother or Big Sister, to support them through high school graduation. We know, and research shows, that children succeed when they feel loved, safe and secure. Big Brothers Big Sisters offers activities and resources designed specifically to help our volunteer Bigs support and engage their Littles as they navigate the education system, leveraging their relationship to ensure that our kids Finish Strong.
