The Portland Parks Foundation mobilizes financial and popular support to ensure a thriving and accessible parks system for a healthy Portland.
About This Cause
The Portland Parks Foundation is the only non-profit organization dedicated to the stewardship of all Portland parks. For the past 20 years we've raised over 20 million dollars to create, maintain and advocate for accessible and beautiful parks in our city. Community Engagement and Advocacy Parks keep us healthy by providing safe places to exercise and play. The Foundation encourages Portlanders to get out into parks through our many community engagement events. Parks keep us healthy, and employees can keep parks healthy by supporting the Portland Parks Foundation today. Capital Projects The Foundation raises funds for the development of Portland’s parks and park infrastructure. Over the past 20 years we’ve built new parks, created park features like bike tracks, climbing walls and water play features, basketball courts, and playgrounds. While we’ve made great gains, there is always more to do. The Foundation is committed to the stewardship of Portland’s public parks for future generations and we hope you will be there as partners in our effort.
