AntFarm believes that all people can be healthy, live with purpose, and be a contributing member of community. We create and connect a healthy, purposeful, and compassionate community by providing life-changing learning experiences for youth.

About This Cause

“The might of one The power of many” AntFarm is located in the heart of downtown Sandy, and Estacada, Oregon. It is a non-profit organization helping youth and families to connect and create community. We support youth in identifying and achieving their focus and goals. AntFarm is a place where people come together from all walks of life to support each other and no one is left out. AntFarm explores what happens when the might of one becomes the power of many. Our Sixteen Programs 1. Axis Learning Center is a study room and computer lab open to those who need computer access to reach their work or school goals. Students work with adult mentors & tutors accomplish these educational and vocational goals. Inquire with us about tutoring opportunities or needs. 2. AntFarm Café and Bakery is a from scratch kitchen that supports youth development through hands on internships where students learn a variety of food service job skills. The Café & Bakery promotes healthy eating, and a commitment to environmental sustainability in our community. 3. The Cultural Arts Center offers the community an open space for a variety of local groups to have meetings, as well as opportunity for participation in school and community art, poetry, music, or photography projects. 4. AntFarm Learning Gardens are food production and learning spaces where youth and community members participate in various tasks like planting and caring for seeds, garden maintenance and harvesting produce. Food from the Learning Gardens is used in the Café, sold, or donated to our local food banks. The Learning Garden in Sandy is located one block west of Bluff Boulevard on the south side of Highway 26 in downtown with great accessibility. The Learning Garden in Estacada is located at our YouthHub at 354 SW 2nd Ave. 5. Mount Hood Farmers Market is a community market hosted by AntFarm. It is located at 38600 Proctor Boulevard at the AntFarm Outdoors building and runs every Friday evening from 3pm – 7pm, May through October. The market hosts all local vendors of handmade crafts and homegrown food and provides opportunity for youth to assist in market operations. 6. CommunityConnect is a program serving local elders and disabled people to help complete home management tasks which have become barriers to independent living. We encourage anyone interested in volunteering to join us at CommunityConnect. We meet at the Outdoor Building several times during the week to help out our Elders! 7. Addiction Prevention and Support encapsulates many projects that AntFarm does in community collaboration. We are located in the Estacada Schools supporting student success, lead a coalition for alcohol and drug prevention for the communities of Sandy and Estacada, provide Peer Court for Chemawa Indian School, and volunteer in many community events. 8. Outdoor Adventure offers an opportunity to experience nature through outdoor pursuits such as hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and camping in the Mount Hood National Forest. 9. YouthCore provides work in partnership with public lands and agencies while teaching youth valuable work skills. YouthCore also supports youth in making contact and connection to the wilderness through hiking, backpacking, mountain biking and other outdoor experiences. 10. Planet 365 Cans & Bottles is a recycling program that provides volunteer opportunities, learning and internship experiences for those interested in supporting AntFarm or learning more about sustainable living practices. 11. Emergency Management Services after providing hundreds of thousands of dollars in Covid-19 support, responding to the 2020/2022 Wildfires, we continue to work with our local communities of Sandy, Estacada, Molalla and the surrounding rural areas to provide education, information, and emergency response. 12. YouthHub is a primary initiative in Estacada and Sandy is empowering youth through youth participation in AntFarm workgroup and leadership meetings. 13. Homeless Youth Services is an important resource for local youth whom have life struggles resulting in unstable living situations. 14. Nuevo Futuro is a grassroots program for Latinx and Hispanic people addressing barriers of language, resource access, and lack of opportunity, while supporting cultural integration throughout Clackamas County. 15. RedWind is the land and Spiritual Community providing the founding tenants and support for AntFarm Youth Services. 16. Estacada Resource Center is located in downtown Estacada on Zobrist Street, this small and intimate community space is being developed for cultural arts events, lectures, classes, and community meetings.
