Mission Statement
The purpose is to create and maintain an organization that in cooperation with the campus Principal and Naval Science Instructor(s), shall promote the activities and/or efforts required to further the goals of the Stony Point High School NJROTC Program, including supporting cadet growth and development and competitive teams. sTp NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB shall provide moral support, financial needs, and volunteer efforts required to support the Stony Point High School NJROTC Program. sTp NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB shall provide and maintain an encouraging and enthusiastic interest towards parents, legal guardians, and community members that participate in the various activities and/or efforts of the Stony Point High School NJROTC Program.
About This Cause
The sTp NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB shall provide educational support as defined by section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to the Stony Point High School NJROTC. The sTp NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB will not conduct any activities that would be considered in violation of exemption status under section 501 (C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, the Round Rock ISD Booster Guidelines or the UIL Booster Club Guidelines. If the sTp NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB disbands, all assets shall be disposed of in accordance with section 501(C)(3) and 170 (C)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. All monies received from donations, sponsors, fees, fund-raising projects, etc. shall be utilized to provide equipment, awards, banquets, trips, etc. for the Stony Point High School NJROTC. The sTp NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB shall not organize and may not sign for a contract or pay expenses directly for student travel. All fundraising events using the sTp NJROTC BOOSTER CLUB name shall have prior approval of the Executive Board of Principals.
