Black Girls Go Global is on a mission to empower and inspire the next generation of Black girls in STEAM.
About This Cause
Black Girls Go Global (BGGG) is a dynamic organization, spearheaded by Black women, committed to rectifying the gender and racial imbalances within Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) fields. Its unwavering mission is mission to empower and inspire the next generation of Black girls in STEAM ... ensuring that every Black girl aspiring to pursue a career in S.T.E.A.M. can do so without facing insurmountable barriers. We recognize the urgency of creating a world where scientific and technological solutions are inclusive and accessible to all demographic groups. The BGGG program is a transformative 1-week S.T.E.A.M. educational and cultural enrichment program set in Costa Rica, tailored for participants in grades 9-12. This program aligns with one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015, fostering a global perspective and understanding among Black girls.
