About This Cause
NW Resiliency Project (NWRP) is a charitable organization committed to championing mental resilience and well-being. NWRP's mission is unequivocal: to empower students, athletes, coaches, and families with mental health resources, emphasizing resilience. Our aim is to equip communities to address mental health challenges, creating a supportive environment that fosters academic and athletic excellence. We envision a stigma-free atmosphere where individuals and communities embrace mental health challenges, cultivating resilience to conquer adversity and foster enduring well-being and fortitude. Key Objectives: - Provide accessible mental health resources for individuals of all ages, by way of education and expert seminars. - Cultivate supportive environments in schools and athletics for addressing mental health challenges. - Eradicate the stigma surrounding mental health. - Equip parents, athletes, and coaches with tools to build mental resilience. - Promote holistic well-being through academic and athletic success. In partnership with Lakeridge and Lake Oswego High Schools, NWRP has been diligently developing programs benefiting students and parents, aiming for a post-winter launch. These initiatives offer vital resources, education, and support. NWRP is eager to expand efforts to other local schools, developing similar impactful initiatives.
