To advance education in the TLEEM field (technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, engineering, and mathematics)
About This Cause
TLEEM is the first and only 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to advance education in the TLEEM (technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, engineering, and mathematics) field. We want to make TLEEM education accessible, especially to K12. We believe that if there aren't enough resources to follow your passion, you often give up. And we want to change that. Whether you're a K12 student showing interest in the TLEEM field or someone who wants to make a career change, TLEEM is on your side. We host multiple programs, such as the chapters program, which aims to deploy school/community clubs around the world, and the youth advisory board, a program ages 10-18 where students can represent their state/country and work closely with TLEEM to solve problems in the TLEEM field in their area/in the world. TLEEM was founded by Arjun Sharda in 7th grade as a small club in September 2023. When Arjun was a Leander ISD student, he saw a lack of clubs at his school. So, with a couple of friends, Arjun made a club at his school. Unfortunately, in late October 2023, he had to move to Round Rock. However, that didn't stop him. Arjun started running the club virtually, and started posting on community forums about TLEEM and its mission. TLEEM started getting people from around the world to volunteer for his organization. With the help of his mom, Arjun filed with the Texas Secretary of State on October 29, 2023, and filed with the IRS on November 14, 2023.
