About This Cause
Lunch for Children is a nonprofit organization committed to ending child hunger by providing free, nutritious lunches to school-aged children across Africa. As an independent branch of a parent nonprofit originally founded in China, we carry forward a shared mission of global solidarity and care, focused on ensuring that every child has the nourishment they need to grow, learn, and thrive. Our work centers on delivering daily meals in partnership with local schools and communities, improving children’s health, boosting school attendance, and supporting long-term educational success. We tailor our programs to respect local cultures and dietary needs, while also fostering community involvement and sustainable development. By combining grassroots action with the support of an international network, Lunch for Children aims to create a future where hunger is no longer a barrier to opportunity for children across Africa.
