About This Cause
We provide toys to low income famiies with toys for their children. All year long we work on collecting funds and toys for our next season. Throghout each year we purchase toys ($30,000 to $60,000 depending on need) from wholesales to supplement donations. We are a grassroots program that was established in 1914 in Portland, Oregon and continues in Portland to this day. Our program helps over 2500 families and over 15 other organizations. We put out over 125 toy collection boxes in busnesses around Portland to collect toys. This program is run by volenteers.
