Mission Statement
Holy Family Day Home provides affordable, high quality, early childhood education and family support services in a stable and nurturing environment, thereby providing the children of working families skills and hope for lifelong development.
About This Cause
Holy Family Day Home provides 120 children each year with early childhood skills and knowledge. Through preschool education, we prepare our children for kindergarten where they feel confident with self-esteem and the knowledge to compete with their more affluent colleagues. Low-income and houseless families also gain self-esteem as they maintain gainful employment without the stress of deciding between childcare and shelter, or the strains of houselessness. Together, our children and families, elevate themselves from poverty through our program and are better suited, more empowered and more confident in their ability to break through the many barriers they face on a daily basis. By addressing and providing early childhood education and family services, the cyclical nature of poverty can be broken as children succeed in each level of schooling, and their families work within the community with confidence.
