Mission Statement
Grace Baptist Church is a welcoming congregation in downtown San Jose. Our homeless ministries have a valued impact on our city and local neighborhood. We affirm the dignity and worth of all people and seek to lift people up.
About This Cause
Grace is an American Baptist Church that has long fought in the struggle for social justice and human rights. Our call from the Gospel compels us to lift up the downtrodden, defend the defenseless, and welcome the stranger. As such, we have ministries that directly support the unhoused population of San Jose. We offer showers for those in need four days each week, with two days exclusively for women. Grace Baptist Church is the only facility in San Jose that provides a shower program for unhoused women.
