Mission Statement

As a leading kindergarten through eighth grade, independent, coeducational, Jewish day school, The Brandeis School of San Francisco creates an environment that allows our students to come together with our talented faculty and staff to learn, explore, achieve, grow, and give back to our greater community. Our integrated and challenging curriculum of general and Judaic studies is built upon our core values of kindness, integrity, and service. Our students are immersed in an experiential educational program with multiple pathways that allow them to master fundamental skills, explore new ideas through conceptual thinking, and – most importantly – give them a strong foundation that equips them for all the challenges – academic, life, and more – that lie ahead.

About This Cause

The Brandeis School of San Francisco inspires students to lead lives of learning and purpose. We provide a challenging academic environment and a welcoming, inclusive community, each deeply enriched by Jewish thought, values and traditions. We offer a rich, integrated, and challenging curriculum combining general and Judaic studies. Rooted in Jewish values, our approach sets high standards and pays attention to individual needs and learning styles. We create a culture that offers a lifelong career for exceptional teachers as we prepare children to thrive in challenging high school environments.
