Intersection for the arts provides Bay Area artists and arts organizations with resources, community and cultural space essential to a thriving arts ecosystem.
About This Cause
Intersection is a non-profit organization that has been empowering Bay Area artists to achieve their creative potential for 55+ years. Today, Intersection supports 160+ artists in the Bay Area across arts education and advocacy, visual, literary, music, theatre, dance, and other emergent art forms. With Intersection’s services, vast knowledge and strong support network, artists have to spend less time on the commercial aspects of their art. Intersection fosters a supportive and encouraging community among artists for inspiration, problem solving and collaboration. Intersection’s space program reduces cost barrier to working in the heart of San Francisco.
