Mission Statement
Placer Food Bank is the leading hunger-relief charity in Placer, El Dorado and Nevada counties. Placer Food Bank is the only local hunger-relief organization, and one of only 210 food banks nationwide, to be a certified member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. We’re also a proud member of the California Association of Food Banks.
About This Cause
We serve as the primary food collection and distribution center for hunger-relief efforts in our area, distributing fresh and non-perishable food to the hungry through our network of more than 80 local hunger-relief and charitable organizations. We are dedicated to feeding the hungry through our network of partner agencies, educating the community about hunger and advocating for hunger relief. Our Vision To Eliminate Hunger.
